Partnership, City of Rockingham
The City of Rockingham does do a lot of work in partnership with the sector to lead advocacy positions on matters related to housing and homelessness. The City developed a leadership group focussed on homelessness to prioritise advocacy actions which resulted in successful advocacy to the State Government for the funding of the Housing First Homelessness Initiative in Rockingham and Common Ground facility to be located in the district. In addition, the City supports grant applications from local organisations for funding eg; SHERP.
